Vikings are looking for a first year Horticultural apprentice to join out Greens and Turf management team. The apprentice will have the opportunity to work on rugby fields, cricket pitches and bowling greens with support from an experienced team of supervisors.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this Traineeship covers a diverse range of fibre-composite activities including mould / plug fabrication and preparation, lamination, gelcoat application, and raw material preparation. This is an entry level position with all training being provided. Key learning areas include: • Laminate layer application to engineer thickness and product requirements. • Application of cosmetic layer to documented standards. • Basic spray equipment maintenance and repairs. • Strip and refurbish moulds including carrying out gelcoat repairs. • Read and interpret drawings to build a plug and mould. • Testing incoming materials to confirm conformity to requirements. • Making adjustments to raw material. • Conducting sampling tests of end products to ensure ongoing compliance to the relevant requirements.

We are seeking 2 experienced carpenters (any age may apply!) that know how to manufacture from measurements, can cut using using tools provided in the workshop with accuracy and attention to detail, and take pride in the quality of their work. We would like someone who is able to measure window and door sizes and liaise with customers, able to cut and put together frames to support aluminium or wooden doors and windows, if possible having knowledge about security doors and windows and the types of frames needed to support them. You need to be able to voice any concerns to both customers or management, in addition to using your own ingenuity and planning on the job. You will need to be able to install products on your own as well as part of a team. It would also be preferred if you are proficient at painting, so any damages to property during the installation can be removed. We look forward to meeting you.

You need to be able to build things from scratch and take your job seriously, having pride in your work and voicing any concerns to both customers or management, in addition to using your own ingenuity and planning on the job. A 2nd or 3rd Year Motor Vehicle Apprentice is required for a small but busy service and repair workshop located at Seven Hills. MUST have current drivers license. You must have experience and knowledge to repair, service and maintain motor vehicles, this includes diagnosing faults on all vehicle systems, engines, brakes, steering and suspension. You must be reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and take pride in your work. Drivers licence is ESSENTIAL.
